About Me
I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. At the age of 20 I began traveling all around the country in pursuit of outdoor adventures and a new place to call home. In 2003 I ended up in South Lake Tahoe, CA and absolutely fell in love with the area. In 2004 I began working many different construction jobs and was involved in everything from carpentry, flips, remodels, tile, landscaping and bmps. Of all the trades I got to experience the one I did the most was always painting. After doing it often over the years I got better and better at it and began to realize that I actually enjoy it very much. The ability to take something worn and revive it with color began to give me a lot of joy. I decided to become a painter. In early Summer of 2013 I got my painting license and started Jesse Bonin Painting.
